Receiver tank

Receiver tank is used to storing refrigerant liquid and is placed in the refrigeration system after the condenser.

Receiver tank is an important part of any system because it ensures that refrigerant enters an expansion device.

Each receiver tank has inlet and outlet connections as well as a safety valve to prevent overpressure.
